VISION

Villanova Athletics has a history of success with major/capital-giving projects; however, there was growth opportunity with pipeline development and annual fund activity. Legends worked with University Advancement and the Villanova Athletic Fund (VAF) to understand their needs and align activity to ensure there was not a duplication of efforts, nor uncoordinated approaches to segments.

PROJECT

Legends worked to become the leader of digital fundraising efforts – with a focus on targeted engagement and special campaigns (particularly activation campaigns) with Account Executives spearheading Leadership Annual Giving efforts. The results of these efforts have been meaningful, substantial growth of the Villanova Athletic Fund. More Villanovans are supporting the VAF than ever before – even more than during National Championship years in basketball – by renewing their gifts year over year.
