Purdue University Case Study
VISION:
Purdue University partnered with MainGate (now Legends Global Merchandise) to be the Official Merchandise Partner with the goal of re-defining their merchandise program for the school and their athletic programs, increase sales and provide the best customer service for their students, alumni and fans.
PROJECT:
MainGate acquired operations for Purdue University in July 2018. In addition to launching a fully responsive eCommerce web store, MainGate remodeled the Purdue Team Store at the Purdue Memorial Union, as well as the Ross-Ade Stadium Team Store, which features a new Nike Concept Shop.
RESULTS:
As a result, MainGate increased the fiscal year sales by 38% in year one. Their athletics game day sales increased dramatically; football and basketball total game day sales both increased by approximately 45% and the average sale for men’s basketball increased by 62% in year one. And today, 2019 3Q and 4Q eCommerce sales have seen three months of record breaking results.
