Chief Technology Officer, Legends
Steve Klohn has over 25 years of experience in information technology, innovation, and business enablement across the retail, restaurant, and entertainment industries. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Legends, he leads the company’s technology division, which is focused on delivering innovative technology solutions that support and drive business for Legends’ global partners and employees.
Steve joined Legends from Dave & Buster’s, where he was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) focused on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technologies to enable the business to serve its guests and team members. Previously, he was the CIO for Main Event Entertainment, a family entertainment center company that was acquired by Dave & Buster’s; CTO for Brinker International, one of the world’s leading casual dining restaurant companies; and SVP, IT for RealPage, Inc., a property management software provider. Steve’s technical career started in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Systems Administrator.
His career has awarded him the ability to learn all aspects of IT in a plan/build/run methodology. He has moved in and out of people and thought leadership roles to keep himself grounded in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), which is critical to success in application development. Because of this, he has a unique and detailed technical understanding of what it takes to develop and deliver innovation that gives the business a competitive advantage.
Steve lives outside Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Jennifer; they have three adult children, Paige, Yancy, and Morgen. In his spare time, Steve enjoys being outdoors, everything dealing with sports and giving back to his community. He is based in Legends’ Frisco, Texas office.
